REPORT:

The Center for Coastal Studies' plane and one plane from the NMFS flew tracklines near Georges Basin and the Northeast Channel. There was one right whale sighted. A second plane from NMFS flew tracklines in the Great South Channel yielding no right whales. Total right whales for the day: 1

CONCENTRATIONS OF ENDANGERED NORTHERN RIGHT WHALES ARE KNOWN TO BE PRESENT IN CAPE COD BAY. SIGHTINGS HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE AREA BOUNDED BY THE FOLLOWING COORDINATES:
